HP releases new 49G+ calculator.
HP has silently released the HP49G+, after a hiatus of almost three years from the calculator business. Pricing is US$175.99, or US$149.99 from HP's shopping site. Think of the 49G+ as a "GX", SD card expandable version of the 49G, except it uses an ARM, not a Saturn processor, and includes a USB cable and IR.
It would appear the ARM processor introduces a new challenge to emulator developers. We'll post relevant updates as they come.

MZ patch has been removed for license compliance.
It appears that distributing source patches to MacZoop violates the license agreement, so the patch to get compiled on Project Builder has been removed permanently from SourceForge.
Enterprising developers may contact me to get a plain-text description of how to patch MZ for Project Builder.

The site is experiencing bandwidth issues - I'm on the problem.
[2003-10-10: This refers to the old web site, not SourceForge] My web host has a 10MB transfer quota per day, so after less than ten clicks on "Download" the page was going down. The site will be moving soon.
