Emu48 for Mac OS X : Site News

Site Issues All Fixed
A cracker recently broke the Emu48 homepage. It seems the weak spot was the blog software, Movable Type. The blog is now upgraded and operating normally again.
Development on Emu48 is still stalled unfortunately, due to time constraints.

Help !
I have been running Emu48 (as a HP48GX emulator) on my PowerBook (G3 FW OS-X 10.3.8) for some time now, and as someone that can't tolerate anything other than an RPN calculator (I still have my HP41-CX from my university days), I have it on my desktop and use it daily.
Now my problem: I recently retired my old desktop machine and traded up to a new G5 (2x1.8GHz) which is a super machine.
But it won't run my Emu48 !
The G5 is also running OS-X 10.3.8, but every time I start up the Emu48, it runs fine for a few keystrokes, but then it crashes. I have tried making new calculators using various .kml files (also using various keyboard .bmp files and even different verions of the HP-ROM dumps). All to no avail -- it crashes every time.
Is this something specific to the G5? Has anybody heard of this before?
Help ! I need my HP Desktop Calculator and I haven't yet been able to find anything that comes close to Emu48.
Mank thanks for any ideas / assistance.

Please mail me your Emu48 crash log so that I can debug the issue. It is located in your Home folder, inside Libraries/Logs/CrashReporter/Emu48.crash.log. The easiest way to find it is to type Emu48.crash.log in the Search field.
